                                      THE MAGIC LEAF
                                      by Mary Feliciani

A small town boy learns the value of friendship.
A beautiful book with bright, colorful drawings and a clever story with a nice message. Perfect for shared reading with a child.

I met Mary Feliciani on Goodreads, a website for authors and readers. She is a Canadian author, independent publisher, and an elementary school teacher. And she, too, writes children's books. I enjoyed reading and reviewing them.

I highly recommend her work. You can find out more about her and her books at: Goodreads and Amazon

                                        OLIVIA
                                     by Ian Falconer

One of my favorite books. I love every- thing about it: Olivia, the little pig, is delightful. The story is simple, humous--one a child could relate to. The black and white with just a touch of red adds glamour and elegance as do the famous paintings shown in their true form. Totally fun and educational. It couldn't be more perfect. I wish I could take credit for it! It is everything I think a picture book should be.
